This
novel has a very complicated plot. Near the end of the novel, the U.S.
Marshall is explains it all. I was reading an ebook but I think it
would have taken many pages in a print edition. In the midst of the
explanation, another character says, “One thing that confuses me.
Well, one of the many things that confuse me, I should say.” (Loc
3294/3516) And later the same character says, “Wow. This whole
thing is so convoluted it almost hurts my brain.” (Loc 3312/3516)
Yes, that's how I felt too.
I
would recommend this novel to readers who enjoy a very convoluted
plot involving several people who are not who they appear to be. The
character development is relatively well done. There is also a clear
presentation of the gospel.
My
rating: 4/5 stars.
