I appreciate her realistic approach, noting that God did not always give her the answer she wanted, such as for children. The devotions are divided by topic so one could read this book cover to cover or go to the topic of immediate interest. At the end of each devotion is related Scripture, a thought to ponder with suggested action and a prayer to recite. It is a good devotional for those who desire encouragement to return to the heart of God.
