About the Book:
My favorite part of this book was the biblical approach to overcoming anxiety. Cooney explains the concept of a renewed mind and gives practical steps for the daily process. She also includes ideas for building a thriving life beyond anxiety, including mental wellness and preventing an anxiety relapse. I appreciate her suggesting we not avoid anxiety altogether but learn from it and see it as a catalyst for growth.
This is a good book for those ready to no longer let past programming and circumstances rule but rather be intentional in our thoughts. Cooney provides information, practical suggestions and reflective questions to help us on the journey to a life beyond anxiety.
