Who is Jesus? written by MaryAnn Diorio illustrated by Kim Sponaugle

Children ask tough questions, like, “Will Jesus still love me if I'm naughty?” These kinds of questions can be a challenge to parents and others as they teach children about God. In this heartwarming and delightfully illustrated book, Diorio answers some of these tough questions. The book has come out of her own firsthand experience as mother, grandmother, and teacher.

The book is designed to present Jesus to children as One who cares for them and loves them with perfect love. It is great. The message is one I think every young child needs to hear. They will see that Jesus' love is unconditional and personal. And the illustrations are wonderful. The book is 48 pages long and has many full color illustrations like the ones I've shown here. And Diorio has included a verse from the Bible after each short lesson that gives the biblical background for that truth.

This is a delightful book for toddlers and preschoolers.
