My Review:

 Eason has crafted a good thriller with potential danger for those protecting a young witness. The setting of a remote ranch where veterans with PTSD can find healing adds to the possibility of danger. That danger is compounded when we find out there is a cult commune close by. They are preppers and should be relatively harmless but the group has gone to an extreme and aligned itself with dangerous people. There is a surprise twist involving one of the FBI agents that was a real surprise for me. My favorite character was Ollie, a young, brave and smart teen. The FBI agents could almost take lessons from her.

This is good thriller with danger, valiant heroes and a mean villain. The novel contains good references to a trusting faith and includes a potential romance. It is another entertaining novel from Eason.

My rating: 4/5 stars.
