My Review:

I am a septuagenarian knowing little about AI. This book helped me understand how it can be used and provided information on the major programs. The focus of the book seems to be how older workers can relate better to younger, tech savvy workers. There are suggestions for building cross-generational relationships, for example. Lest we older people feel we are of little use, McMahon frequently reminds us what we offer that AI cannot replace. There is also a section for managers, giving tips in implementing AI.

This is a small book at 33 pages. It does have good information but is by no means exhaustive. It is a good introduction for seniors who know nothing about AI and its possible uses. There is an Appendix with specific suggestions to begin using AI.

My rating: 4/5 stars.

About the Author:

William McMahon grew up in Deweyville, Texas, and spent more than forty years in grocery retail — most of it running produce departments — before starting over in his sixties on the floor at Tesla in Bastrop. He's living proof that the most interesting chapter can begin long after the world says the story's over, and he writes about exactly that: second acts, staying valuable as you age, and finding your footing through change.

William lives in Bastrop, Texas.
